March 4th at 7 pm.  The History of Writing by Terri Antoniewicz.  Journey from papyrus and ink quills to computer laser-jet printing. Edison Public Library.  Call (732) 287-2298 ext 1 to register.

March 7th from 9 am to 12 noon (no early birds) Spring Rummage Sale at Temple  Emanu-El, James Street, Edison (across from JFK Hospital).

March 7th, 9 am to 1 pm.  Blood Drive at Temple Neve Shalom, Metuchen.  Call (732) 968-4489 to make an appointment.

March 7th from 1-4 pm in celebration of Women’s History Month, free art exhibition and lectures by Metuchen Artist Joan Arbeiter.  Artist reception and gallery talks at Drake House Museum, Plainfield.  For more information call (908) 755-5831.

March 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 at 7.30 pm.  John P. Stevens Theatre Company’s production of “Jekyll and Hyde”, the Tony Award nominated musical.  Tickets for $9 can be purchased in advance at the high school (732) 452-2800.  $11 at door.  J.P. Stevens High School, Grove Avenue, Edison.

  • When my partner and I first met with Jackie because we were planning to move from New Hope, Pa to the Metuchen area, we had not even sold our house at that point. Little did we know that it would take about 9 more months to sell in Pa so that we could seriously look in NJ.
