No one has to be hungry in Westfield, if you don’t want to cook at home, there are many different restaurants throughout the  town:

Restaurants

16 Prospect Wine Bar and Bistro, 16 Prospect Street, Westfield, (908) 232-7320. Live music, bistro style food.

Acquaviva delle fonti, 115 Elm Street, Westfield, (908) 301-0700. Fine Dining. 2 main dining rooms, bar and lounge. Private dining room and outdoor patio for summer dining.

Boulevard Bistro, 301 South Avenue West, Westfield. (908) 264-8252

Chez Catherine, 431 North Avenue W, Westfield.  (908) 654-4011.  Fine Dining at it’s best.  One of the oldest and best known French Restaurants in New Jersey.  It’s also my favorite restaurant.  A pretty dining room with wonderful food, fine wines and great service.  Open for lunch and dinner with prix fixe menu on certain days.

Clyne & Murphy, 439 South Avenue West, Westfield.  (908) 233-9733.  Family style cooking.

Feast Catering,  27 Elm Street, Westfield.  (908) 654-0045.  Bistro cuisine.

Ferraro’s Restaurant, 14 Elm Street, Westfield. (908) 232-1105.  An extremely popular Italian restaurant that suffered a devastating fire and is currently being rebuilt.

Ferraro’s South, 425 South Elmer Street, Westfield. (908) 232-1101. For those who miss Ferraro’s on Elm Street, you can order the food online and have take-out delivery.

Fujiyama Mama Restaurant, 341 South Avenue East, Westfield. (908) 232-6598. Extensive Japanese cuisine. Half price sushi on certain days.

Isabella’s American Bistro, 39 Elm Street, Westfield. (908) 233-8830.  Nice restaurant with good food and friendly service.  Outside dining in the summer.

Jeffreys of Westfield, 114 Central Avenue, Westfield. (908) 232-4517. American classics in restaurant.  Bar serves a good martini.

Limani Seafood Grill, 235 North Avenue W, Westfield. (908) 233-0052.   Mediterranean Seafood restaurant with Greek classics.  Good food, friendly service.  A little noisy in back room.

Mojave Grill, 35 Elm Street, Westfield.  (908) 233-7772.  I like this restaurant.  Modern with a contemporary south-western cuisine.  Good food and a little different.

Nagoya Japanese Restaurant, 278 North Avenue E, Westfield. (908) 389-1131.  Popular, local  Japanese restaurant situated in strip mall.

Qdoba Mexican Grill, 70 Elm Street, Westfield. (908) 301-0050.

Tinga, 110 Central Avenue, Westfield.  (908) 301-0100.  Good Mexican food.

Turning Point, 137 Central Avenue, Westfield.  (908) 264-8180.  Busy, pretty restaurant.  Popular for breakfast and brunch.  Service can be slow.

Vicki’s Diner, 101 E. Broad Street, Westfield.  (908) 233-6887.   Love it or not so much, it’s still a really busy place.

Xocolatz, 235 Elmer Street, Westfield.  (908) 232-3962.  Very busy restaurant.  Reasonable prices.  Good salads.

A Quick Bite or Pizza:

Ana Beall’s Tea Room, 415 Westfield Avenue, Westfield.  (908) 24-4221.  Lunch and high tea – British style.  Slow, slow service.  When it comes to High Tea, not as British as one would hope, but then again, I’m from London so maybe I’m super critical!

Bovella’s Pastry Shoppe, 101-3 E. Broad Street, Westfield.  (908) 232-4149.  The best pastry shoppe – I will ditch my diet for their cakes and cookies.  The whole area smells of their divine  baking.  You can settle there, have a coffee and an amazing pastry.  Not cheap but worth every penny!

Casa di Pizza, 50 Elm Street, Westfield. (908) 654-3232.  If you like thin, crispy pizza, this is the place.  Interesting, gourmet-style pizza.  Only problem is that the seating is limited and it gets hard to find a place to sit and eat.

Chocolate Bar, 112 Quimby Street, Westfield.  (908) 389-9000.  Wonderful gelato, great coffee and chocolate.  It’s a wonderful place to cheat on the diet!

Cosimo’s Pizza, 118 E Broad Street, Westfield.  (908) 654-8787.  Expanded pizza bar.

Crumbs Bake Shop, 130 E Broad Street, Westfield. (908) 23-5527. Pricey cupcakes.

Hershey’s Deli, 221 South Avenue W, Westfield.  (908) 233-0430 . Landmark deli in town.  Popular for subs.

Homemade Pizza Co, 108 Quimby Street, Westfield. (908) 317-6800.  Fresh pizza to take home and cook.

Jersey Mike’s Subs, 144 E Broad Street, Westfield. (908) 233-6002. Popular sub restaurant.

Panera Bread, 143 E Broad Street, Westfield. (908) 518-9600.  Popular chain restaurant. Always very crowded.

Papa John’s Pizza, 219 South Avenue E, Westfield. (908) 232-7272.  Old fashioned pizza.

Wild Greens, 102 E Broad Street, Westfield. (908) 228-2783.  Chopped salads in a big plastic bowl.  I love their soup.
