Testimonial

We have known Jackie since February 2005. She was referred to us by our friends who had very high regards for her. She successfully helped us find and close on our first home in North Edison in 2006.

Jackie has a very good understanding of the real estate market in central NJ.

When we started looking, we were looking for a home in the towns of North Edison, Westfield and Scotch Plains. She is very well versed in these towns and extremely familiar with North Edison - to the extent that she provides feedback about streets and neighborhoods that only locals would know. Her knowledge helped us zero in on the neighborhood of our choice. She is very well respected by her peers and has a wide network of professionals that she works with. When it was time for closing, Jackie helped us by referring home inspectors, attorneys and mortgage specialists. She provided us with several references for each of them with the pros and cons of working with each of them. While none of these were binding, having the choices definitely helped us. In particular, the home inspector she referred was so good that he was also hired by the sellers of our home.

All through the home buying process, we found Jackie to be very objective of serving our interests.

She is patient and we never felt any pressure to buy or make a decision that we were not comfortable with. In other words, she let us find our home. At all times we found her to be prompt and courteous and willing to go the extra yard to help find us information. (when she didn't have it). Kiran and Shobna Banga

Old Bridge is a developing community of over 60,000 persons, covering 38.3 square miles. It has an unparalleled location, situated between the Gateway Region, with its tourism, culture and other urban amenities, and the Shore Region, with its beach and boardwalk and other amusements. Old Bridge has access to major transportation corridors, Routes 9, 18 34, 35 and 516 go directly through the Township and access to the Garden State Parkway is at Exit 120.

In 1684, South Amboy Township was formed. At that time, it covered an area that included Old Bridge. The township eventually separated and was called Madison Township until 1975, when the name was changed to the Township of Old Bridge. Initially, the town was made up of farms and the town grew very slowly.

The Old Bridge Waterfront has considerable commercial and recreational activity ever since the area was first inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians. A combination of the detrimental effects of water pollution, storm damage, beach erosion and a general neglect of this valuable asset led to a deterioration of the bay front area. During the past decade, the Township of Old Bridge initiated efforts to reverse this trend and residents can now unwind and enjoy the township’s summer concert series on the Laurence Harbor Beach.

The Township retains ample farmland and green space, including the beachfront, Cheesequake State Park and 15 municipal parks. Other areas of interest include the PNC Bank Arts Center where famous names give summer concerts, Monmouth Racetrack Park and Sandy Hook Beach. Old Bridge Airport is also located within the Township.

The Township is served by nearby railroad stations with train service into New York City, Newark and Philadelphia. Bus service in the town is served by the following:

New Jersey Transit, Suburban Transit and Academy, which service the surrounding areas and New York City.

The Township’s public school system, with a student population of 10,047, ranks as one of the largest suburban school districts in the State of New Jersey. The educational facilities consist of one high school with two campuses, two middle schools and twelve elementary schools, along with numerous athletic fields for intramural and interscholastic athletics.

The Township has a mixture of single-family homes and townhome and condominium developments and is a very popular place for many young families to live.
