Every time I see your mailings I smile just thinking of you.  I have to say, Rebecca and I could definitely be your advertising team! We are so happy in our home, and I am so happy that you were OUR realtor! I always hear people complaining about house-hunting, how arduous and awful... I never thought that we would be able to own a house, and I was very scared of the process of buying one... the mortgage, lawyers, negotiating, etc... You were really knowledgeable and so KIND to us.

If we did not say thank you enough at the time, we would really like to take the opportunity to thank you again now!!  We are so in-love with our home. We are so grateful to you!

Additionally, we are so pleased with all of the other professionals that you recommended to us during our process.

Highland Park Real Estate

Highland Park is a residential community, approximately 2 square miles in size, and centrally located in Middlesex County between New Brunswick and Edison townships, nestled along the Raritan River. Settled in about 1667 by a small group of dissident Baptists, it was originally a meeting point for several Indian trails which extended in many directions.

Route 27 runs through the middle of Highland Park and Routes 18, 1 and 287 run nearby.

In a modern world populated by superstores, Highland Park maintains a small-town, homey feel with a number of mom-and-pop shops. People chose to live there because it’s a safe, walking community. This quiet borough, situated along the Raritan River, has a busy downtown area, full of small shops and a large selection of restaurants, ranging from Turkish to Thai to Israeli. In 1978, the National Main Street Center was established by the National Trust for Historic Preservation with the goal of revitalizing downtown while maintaining the historic integrity of the area and its buildings.

Highland Park is known for its cultural diversity, its proximity to Rutgers University and its commitment to education and the arts. This has resulted in the community developing an artistic flair. The township is known to have an excellent school system. Highland Park is one of the few communities in New Jersey to gain an Eruv.

From Highland Park, it’s an easy walk across the bridge spanning the river into New Brunswick to the train station which provides a direct link into Manhattan.

To complement its bustling downtown, Highland Park maintains an historical flavor with many charming, older homes on tree-lined streets.
