North Brunswick Schools
The district educates about 5,500 students in four elementary schools, a middle school and high school. The John Adams Elementary School and the North Brunswick Township High School have received the distinguished honor of Blue Ribbon School of Excellence from the US Department of Education in 1999 and 2000 respectively. Livingston Park Elementary School was recognized as a state Star School.
The North Brunswick Township Board of Education serves a highly diverse community. The township's schools set goals reflecting the district's focus on high student achievement, creating an environment that encourages and enhances learning and a commitment to implementing the latest in technological and research-based instruction.
Currently, North Brunswick is involved in a $29 million renovation of the North Brunswick Township High School. The building project includes additional classrooms, state of the art technology, a broadcast media center, a new media center, a new auditorium, a new cafeteria and physical education facilities. The Board of Education has completed an evaluation of North Brunswick's elementary and middle school facilities. A proposed $324,300 renovation/additions project will go before the voters. This project is designed to ensure a high quality, blue ribbon education for all the children of North Brunswick.
