Monroe Schools

The Monroe Township School District serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. There are six schools in the district: 4 elementary, one middle and one high school. Mill Lake Elementary School and Barclay Brook Elementary School have both received the Blue Ribbon Award from the US Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve. Monroe Township services an approximate student population of 3.305 with 242 full-time classroom teachers. Students from next-door Jamesburg attend Monroe Township High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Jamesburg Public Schools.
